Family vacation in SE British Columbia

Recently my family and I took a short vacation from Sandpoint, Idaho into southeastern British Columbia, Canada.  We stayed two nights at a campground just north of New Denver, on picturesque Slocan Lake (shown below).  Along the way we were able to take the Kootenay Ferry, which was great fun and a beautiful ride.  On the way back we stopped in the town of Nelson, BC.
